Marching Marshals Claim Reserve Grand Championship at Green River Classic

(CALHOUN, Ky.) — The Marshall County Marching Marshals delivered another stellar performance Saturday, October 4th, capturing Reserve Grand Champion honors at the Green River Marching Classic hosted by McLean County High School.

In a closely contested competition, the Marching Marshals finished just .7 points behind the grand champion, marking the second time this season the band has earned the Reserve Grand Champion trophy. The group also took first place in Class AAAA.

The strong showing continues an impressive competitive season for the Marching Marshals, who have consistently placed among the top bands at regional competitions.

The band will wrap up its 2025 competitive season this Saturday, when they travel to Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee, for their final competition of the year.
