(WEST PADUCAH, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals will take the field tonight seeking another KHSAA Region One Girls Soccer Tournament Championship when they face a familiar foe, the McCracken County Lady Mustangs.
The championship matchup features two teams that know each other well. Marshall County, competing in its inaugural season as a First District member, has faced McCracken County three times already this year — and emerged victorious in each meeting.
The Lady Marshals opened the season series with a 1-0 road victory at McCracken County on August 28. They followed with a commanding 6-3 win in Draffenville on September 11, before capturing the District Championship with another 1-0 victory on October 8.
Tonight’s region final will determine which team advances to the Round of 16.
