
(MURRAY, Ky.) — A 28-year-old Murray man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into the sexual assault of a juvenile, the Murray Police Department announced.
Matthew Adams was arrested after officers completed an investigation that began September 25, 2025, when police took a report involving the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Adams has been charged with two counts of first-degree rape, three counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor, and one count of first-degree indecent exposure.
The Murray Police Department acknowledged assistance from the Vanderbilt University Police Department and the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Court Security in the investigation.
Police reminded the public that Adams is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
