(BENTON, Ky.)-Marshall County Attorney Jason Darnall has announced he will seek re-election to his current position.
In a statement released Wednesday, Darnall expressed gratitude for the support he has received during his tenure and requested continued backing from voters in the upcoming election.
“I’m extremely proud and honored of the work we have done with the help of a tremendous staff and support from the fiscal court,” Darnall said in his announcement.
Darnall emphasized his commitment to serving as a full-time county attorney, a point he highlighted in his statement. He thanked constituents for their support over the years and concluded his announcement with well-wishes for Marshall County.
The county attorney position is responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor cases, providing legal counsel to county government, and representing the county in civil matters.
