
(CALVERT CITY, Ky.) (Nov. 7, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to begin a daytime lane restriction on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge, located at mile point 29.352 at the Marshall-Livingston County line, on Sunday, Nov. 9, one day earlier than previously announced.
During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane in the direction where crews are active.
On Sunday, crews will work eastbound in the morning before shifting to westbound in the afternoon. Work will continue during daytime hours in the westbound lanes for several days before shifting back to the eastbound lanes.
The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
