(PADUCAH, Ky.) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office has announced multiple drug trafficking arrests following separate investigations conducted throughout November 2025.
High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest After Vehicle Runs Out of Fuel
On November 26, 2025, detectives investigating illegal drug trafficking spotted 39-year-old Anthony L. Nance Jr. driving near the intersection of 16th Street and Park Avenue in Paducah around 9:30 a.m.
Authorities were already familiar with Nance, who was on felony probation and wanted on outstanding warrants for cocaine trafficking. When detectives attempted a traffic stop, Nance fled, initiating a brief pursuit that ended near 24th Street and Laclede Avenue after his vehicle ran out of fuel.
Following a brief struggle, Nance was taken into custody. During the chase, detectives observed Nance discarding bags of crack cocaine and synthetic marijuana from his vehicle. Additional synthetic marijuana was found inside the car. Investigators determined Nance was under the influence of cocaine, synthetic marijuana, Vyvanse, and other substances at the time of his arrest.
A subsequent search warrant executed at Nance’s residence in the 5600 block of Old Mayfield Road uncovered a handgun, additional drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The Paducah Police Department assisted in the investigation.
Nance faces multiple charges including two outstanding warrants for trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in synthetic drugs, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, and drug paraphernalia possession.
Multi-Count Cocaine Trafficking Arrest at Hotel
Following an investigation that began in early November 2025, detectives arrested 58-year-old Rodney L. Collins of Paducah on November 25, 2025.
Detectives had purchased quantities of crack cocaine from Collins during their undercover operation. Shortly before noon on Tuesday, authorities located Collins and executed a search warrant at his hotel room at 2701 HC Mathis Drive in Paducah.
The search yielded crack cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.
Collins, who has an extensive criminal history including multiple prior cocaine trafficking convictions, was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail. He faces three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), along with possession charges for synthetic drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Warrant Issued for Repeat Offender
Detectives also investigated 38-year-old Jose M. Harmon of Paducah in November 2025 after learning he was selling synthetic marijuana.
A search warrant executed at Harmon’s residence at 2319 Ascot Downs in Paducah resulted in the recovery of marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. However, Harmon was not present during the search.
According to authorities, Harmon has an extensive criminal history, including multiple prior convictions for trafficking synthetic drugs. He is currently on probation for two 2024 convictions related to synthetic drug trafficking.
An active arrest warrant has been issued for Harmon on charges of trafficking in synthetic drugs. The investigation remains ongoing.
All three suspects were processed through the McCracken County Regional Jail. The investigations remain active.
