(BENTON, Ky.)-The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office announced the addition of two new employees this week, bringing decades of combined law enforcement experience to the department.

Deputy Tom Starks joins the agency as a 16-year law enforcement veteran. Throughout his career, Starks has served as a deputy with both the Trimble County and McCracken County Sheriff’s Offices. Most recently, he worked as a police officer with the Calvert City Police Department.

Also joining the team is Creig Grim, who will serve as a Court Security Officer. Grim brings 12 years of corrections and prisoner transport experience from his time with the Livingston County Jail.

“We are proud to welcome both to our team and look forward to their contributions to the community,” Sheriff Matt Hilbrecht stated in announcing the new hires.

The additions bolster the department’s staffing as it continues to serve Marshall County residents.
