(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.)-The Marshals kicked off their basketball season in impressive fashion at Hoopfest 2025, securing back-to-back victories over the weekend.
In Friday’s season opener, the Marshals defeated Sterlington (LA) 65-47, setting the tone for what would be a successful event showing. The team built on that momentum Saturday night with an even more commanding performance, dismantling in-state rival Clinton County 81-42.
The decisive wins showcase the Marshals’ offensive firepower and defensive intensity as they begin their campaign. The 39-point margin of victory over Clinton County marked a particularly dominant outing for the Orange.
The Marshals will look to continue their undefeated start when they host Carlisle County on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
