Patrick “Shane” Jaco, age 66 of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Shane was born in Benton, Kentucky August 30, 1959, to the late Weldon and Judy Jaco. He retired from the Marshall County Maintenance Department. Shane was a hard worker, but above all, a loving and devoted husband to his sweetheart, Angie. Known for his big heart and easy laughter, he had a gift for making everyone around him smile. Shane enjoyed spending time on the mower, whether cutting the grass or circling the yard just to give his dog, Oliver, a ride. He was an avid NASCAR and UK basketball fan. Shane attended Christian Fellowship church.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Angie Hollowell Jaco; brother, Jeff Jaco and wife, Lori of Benton, KY; twin sister, Valerie Bell and husband, Eddy of Hendersonville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Warren Jaco and niece, Casey Jaco Prescott.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. David Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
