Four Arrested in Calvert City on Warrants, Drug Charges

(CALVERT CITY, Ky.) — Calvert City police arrested four individuals over a two-week period in November and December on outstanding warrants and various criminal charges.

The first arrest occurred Nov. 28 when an officer spotted a vehicle left running at Fivestar convenience store. The registered owner was known to have an active warrant, and contact was made with the driver.

Jeremiah Davis Booker, 33, of Hardin, was arrested on a Marshall County indictment warrant for flagrant non-support. Following further investigation, he was also charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Booker was additionally served with a Marshall County criminal summons for violation of a Kentucky emergency protective order or domestic violence order, as well as a Graves County summons for failure to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change and speeding more than 25 mph over the limit.

On Dec. 3, an officer stopped a vehicle traveling on U.S. 62 without functioning tail lights or a license plate light. The driver appeared nervous during the traffic stop, police said. Trevor Paul Ellenberger, 18, of Reidland, was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and failure to wear a seat belt.

Two days later, on Dec. 5, an officer contacted a woman at Waffle House who was known to have an outstanding warrant. Brandi N. McDonald, 39, of Paducah, was arrested on a Marshall County warrant for probation violation related to a felony offense.

Most recently, on Dec. 9, officers made contact with a man at his residence who had active warrants. Ricky W. Lewis, 49, of Calvert City, was arrested on two Calloway County warrants for failure to appear.
