(PADUCAH, Ky.) — Christian Fellowship School delivered a commanding performance Thursday night, defeating Community Christian Academy 76-50 in opening-round action of the Track Tech/Community Christian Academy Warrior Christmas Tournament.
The victory was highlighted by a historic achievement from Eagles senior Elijah Grigg, who secured his 1,000th career rebound during the game. The rare milestone added a memorable touch to an already dominant team performance.
Christian Fellowship seized control early and never looked back, steadily building their advantage throughout the evening. The Eagles’ balanced attack and defensive intensity proved too much for the host Warriors, resulting in a decisive 26-point victory.
The Christian Fellowship girls’ team also found success Thursday, rolling past Community Christian 41-11 in tournament play.
Both Eagles squads return to action Friday at Community Christian Academy. The boys will face Fort Campbell at 5:30 p.m., while the Lady Eagles are scheduled to take on Dresden (TN).
