
(PADUCAH, Ky.) — One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting Monday evening in the 2700 block of Trimble Street.
The Paducah Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 6:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026, after receiving multiple reports of gunshots in the area. Officers arriving at the scene found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police rendered aid to the victim before emergency medical personnel transported the individual to a local hospital. The victim was later transferred to an out-of-state medical facility for further treatment. Authorities say the injuries are not life-threatening.
Detectives investigating the incident have determined that the suspect or suspects fled the scene in a gold-colored passenger vehicle. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
