(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals delivered a commanding performance on their home court Thursday night, routing Madisonville-North Hopkins 63-23 in a homecoming celebration at Reed Conder Gymnasium.
The victory improved Marshall County’s record to 17-4 on the season as they continue their strong campaign. The Lady Marshals controlled the game from start to finish, never allowing the visiting Lady Maroons to gain momentum in the 40-point blowout.
The lopsided win provided the perfect backdrop for the evening’s homecoming festivities. Before the game, the Marshall County student body crowned their 2026 Basketball Homecoming Court, with Neyland Jezik named king and Evylee Terry crowned queen.
Marshall County will look to carry the momentum into their next contest Saturday when they face Bowling Green in the Vintage Classic. The game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Breckinridge County.
