(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — Marshall County High School senior Audrey Grace Brown has committed to continue her athletic career at Freed-Hardeman University, signing to compete in discus for the Lions’ track and field program.
Brown, a four-year member of the Lady Marshals track and field team, has been a consistent contributor to the program’s success throughout her high school career. Her dedication and performance earned her All-Area Class AAA honors twice over the past three seasons.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Brown has distinguished herself through her commitment both in the classroom and on the track. Her coaches praise her exceptional work ethic as a student-athlete.
In a testament to her character, Brown made the difficult decision to forgo competing at the state championship meet to participate in an overseas mission trip, demonstrating what her coaches describe as “a great heart for helping people.”
Freed-Hardeman University, located in Henderson, Tennessee, competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Brown will join the Lions’ track and field program beginning in the 2026-27 academic year.
