(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — The Marshall County Lady Marshals came agonizingly close to a Fourth District Championship Wednesday night, but a late 5-0 run by Calloway County lifted the Lady Lakers to a 33-31 victory and the district title.
Marshall County held a 31-28 lead in the closing moments and had the championship within reach before Calloway County rallied to score the game’s final five points. Lady Marshals Kenzlee Terry (#14), Rylan Darnall (#2) and Addi Wall (#23) were named to the All District Team:
