(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.) — A familiar face on the Marshall County High School sideline is stepping away from the game.

Aaron Beth, head coach of the Marshall County Lady Marshals basketball program, has announced his retirement, the school confirmed Monday.

Beth, a Marshall County graduate himself, spent his coaching tenure building more than just a winning program. Athletic Director Mike Johnson credited him with shaping the culture of Lady Marshals basketball from the inside out.

“Coach Beth has represented Marshall County with integrity and passion for the game,” Johnson said. “His commitment to his players and our school community has been unmatched. We thank him for his years of service to our students, families, and fans.”

During his time leading the program, Beth guided the Lady Marshals to regional championships and state tournament appearances. Those on the court who played for him often point to lessons that went far beyond basketball — lessons in discipline, preparation, and accountability.

As a Marshall County alum, Beth carried forward a family legacy within the program, and his connection to the community gave his tenure a personal weight that resonated with players and parents alike.

Marshall County Schools and the Lady Marshals program have extended their gratitude to Beth as he moves into retirement.
