(OWENSBORO, Ky.)-Calvert City pickleball players brought home multiple medals from the River City Open 2025 tournament held in Owensboro this weekend, capturing seven podium finishes across various skill divisions.
The tournament’s top performance came from Cameron Brown and Kayla Travis, who claimed gold in the competitive 4.5 Mixed division. Travis also earned a second medal, taking bronze in 5.0 Women’s doubles alongside partner Hailey Jamison.
Jacob Doughty and Melissa Shelton dominated the 3.0 Mixed category, earning gold medals for their efforts.
Silver medals were awarded to two Calvert City pairs: Micah Prude and Carolyn Powers in 3.5 Mixed, and Jackson Crawford teaming with Jenny Hargrave in 4.0 Mixed.
Bronze medal winners included brothers Jackson and Gavin Crawford in 4.5 Men’s doubles, and the duo of Jenny Travis and Jennifer Wilson in 4.5 Women’s doubles.
