(BENTON, Ky.)-Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hilbrecht is commending a team of law enforcement officers and first responders after a Tennessee arrest warrant for attempted murder was served safely and without incident.
Donovan T. Davis, 20, of Columbia, Tennessee, was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Detention Center on a charge of fugitive from justice. Davis faces an underlying Tennessee warrant for attempted criminal homicide.
Sheriff Hilbrecht praised the professionalism and coordination displayed by all agencies involved in the operation.
“This operation was carried out with professionalism, coordination, and a shared commitment to public safety,” Hilbrecht said. “Because of this team effort, the warrant was served safely and without incident.”

- Marshall County Deputies
- Benton Police Department
- Calloway County Sheriff’s Office
- Marshall County Ambulance Service
The sheriff extended his sincere appreciation to each of the men who participated in what he called a model of interagency cooperation.
